Pumpkins, monsters…. and a “voyageur”
Halloween is approaching fast and so is our amazing yearly event.
12:30pm You and your whole family are invited to our second annual outdoor pumpkin carving contest. Each child will receive a pumpkin to carve and take home. The Picture of the pumpkin on Facebook with the most likes will receive a total value of $45 in gift certificates.
Snacks will be served.
2:00pm An “Exquisite-corps” of monsters. Craft and artwork facilitated by Bertrand Nayet.
3:00pm Bilingual (French and English) storytelling with Ti-Bert le Voyageur. Followed by a short storytelling workshop and a team story creation activity.
4:00pm The museum will be open and everyone is welcome to continue working on any of their personal projects.
When : Saturday 29 October from 12:30pm to 5pm
Where : At Maison Gabrielle-Roy (375 Deschambault)
Cost : A voluntary donation to Maison Gabrielle-Roy
Please dress warmly as the pumpkin carving is outside. The second part of the event is in the basement of the museum. Some patterns and tools will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own material.
